Contouring and Highlighting Tools & Products
Hello girls,
Hope you enjoyed episode 8 about contouring and highlighting techniques. I promised you all that I will right down my favourite contouring and highlighting products and tools. So, there you go!
Tools:
1) A concealer brush:
Use a concealer brush to spread the light foundation on the highlight areas of the face. (Check Ep. 8).
Ps. If you are using stick foundation, apply it on the face directly!
2) A foundation Brush
Use a foundation brush to spread the dark foundation on the contour areas of the face. (Check Ep. 8)
P.S. If you are using stick foundation, apply it on the face directly!
3) A Contouring Brush
After blending the highlighting and contouring lines, go on your contouring lines with a matt bronzer and a contouring brush. This adds more definition to your face! (Check Ep. 8)
4) A Powder Brush:
After blending the highlighting and contouring lines, go on your highlighting lines with your powder and your powder brush. This adds more definition to your face (Check Ep. 8)
5) A Beauty Blender:
Is an egg-shaped sponge that helps blends foundation flawlessly without making it look cakey.
Best Products:
1) Makeup Forever Sculpt Disc:
2) Sephora Sculpting Disc:
3) Mayeblline Foundation sticks: Vanilla and Coco Mocha
I use from this range, Vanilla to highlight and Coco to Contour
4) Mac Foundation:
NC25 (highlighting) & NC 55 (contouring) if you have yellow based skin. NW25 (highlighting) & NW55 (contouring) if you have rose based skin.
This is how they look. The number is usually written at the bottom.
If you don't have time to buy your contouring and highlighting kit at the moment, get an old foundation that is too light on you that you never used and apply it as a highlighter. As for the contouring, it could be easily done if you have just a regular matt bronzer and a contouring brush. Try it!
