TREND ALERT: All Things Brown for 2015!
Hello Girls,
If you remember one of my earliest posts in January 2015, it was about the "Pantone's 2015 Color of the Year" which was Marsala. Apparently, Pantone is a colour organisation that works on choosing a specific colour with specific specs and shades at the beginning of each year. This colour, once announced, becomes the main fad among many beauty, fashion as well as decor industries. Mainly industries that work a lot with colours. It was very interesting to know something like that for the first time and I am waiting with anticipation for Pantone's 2016 Colour of the Year.
Having said all that, let me tell you that Marsala is still going really really strong among designers, models, bloggers and makeup artists. Marsala is a reddish pinkish shade of brown. Some people call it Reddish Brick, others call it Pinky Taupe, and some even see it as Plumpish Brown. Whatever your eyes see, Marsala is a wonderful colour; great on lips, perfect on cheeks and absolutely awesome on nails.
