Summer is All-Year-Long with These 9 beauty tricks!

Hello Girls,
Winter is almost knocking on our doors; but who even permitted summer to leave so soon. I am all about the summer season with its positivity, great weather, crystal blue waters, tanned skin, white sands, naturally highlighted hair and everything else that comes with it. With this being mentioned, I try as much as I can to keep the summer habits during the harsh winter season. I also have to admit it's mostly summer here in Dubai, but take my tips and apply them in your colder parts of the world. 
Self-tanners:
 Invest in a proper self-tanner to help maintain your color. Self-tanners are the safest way to look tanned and to maintain your glow all year long. My favorite brand is St.Tropez. 

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize: 
Part of keeping your skin glowing is to constantly moisturize. The winter season is a very drying season and using scented body butters to counteract this effect is a great way to keep your skin’s moisture levels up. Bodyshop, Bath & Body Works, Botanics, L'occitane, and Victora's Secrets are all great options. 

Exfoliate:
 Shedding dead skin cells is a great way to keep your skin supple and smooth. Bringing fresh skin to the surface makes the body look very healthy and glowy. You can easily make your own body scrub my mixing brown sugar with sweet almond oil. 

Water:
 Drinking lots of water makes the skin plumper, enhance production of collagen and increase the skin elasticity, not to mention, keeps the skin completely acne-free.

Healthy Food:
 Eating food rich in Beta Carotene enhances the skin’s glow from within. Foods like sweet potatoes, carrots, apricots and mangoes are only a few of some great choices. Check Raw Republic Facebook page and Instagram for amazing smoothies. 

Exercise:
 Keep yourself fit during the winter season. Exercise makes your body lean and your muscles tones, balance your insulin levels and enhances all bodily functions. Thus, makes you look and feel your best all year long.

Invest in a good bronzer and lip/cheek tints:
 A good bronzer is the quickest wake to wake up your dull complexions. With some natural-looking cheek and lip tint, you can quickly give your face and your lips the correct amount of flushness it needs. 


Coconut Oil: 
Cooking with coconut oil or even applying it topically to hair, skin and body is the most efficient way to make your body look and feel awesome. Coconut oil makes the skin extremely supple, nourishes the hair and has outstanding health benefits when used in cooking.

Vitamin D supplements:
 One of the major reasons why we get tons of compliments on the way we look during summer is because of the good amount of sun exposure we receive. Sun exposure is responsible for the production of Vitamin D in our bodies; which is a necessary ingredient for healthy hair and flawless skin. Make it a habit to take one capsule of Vitamin D daily during the months of winter to maintain the benefits you would rather receive from sun exposure.


There isn’t anything better than keeping our summer fever all year long. With some beauty hacks and smart fixes, we can always maintain our summer flawless looks way beyond this season. You can now get the best of two worlds by religiously applying these tip and tricks all year long.
