A lip scrub that will transform your cracked painful winter lips in seconds!

This week's youtube episode just in case you didn't get a chance to see it!

Hello Girls,

Many of us in winter suffer from dull, cracked, and chapped lips that are not only ugly but also extremely painful.

Here is a blog post about a lip treatement that will leave your lips looking so fresh, full and soft in that irritating winter season.

The first thing you need to do is notice the first signs of lip cracking. Don't wait until your lips start bleeding then ask for help. Once you start feeling that your lips are getting drier and more sensitive, start treating them early on.

The best natural lip scrub that you need to do is: Sweet Almond Oil and Sugar Scrub.
The reason this works really well is that it treats the lips from within. The Sweet Almond Oil is loaded with Vitamin E and will give your lips the needed moisture, while the sugar scrubs off all the dead and dry skin leaving your lips full and soft.

Make sure that you get Sweet Almond Oil and not regular almond oil (Zeit Loz Hilw). Find them in Attar because this is where you can make sure the oil is pure and natural.

Here is how you can prepare your scrub:
Get 1 tsp Sweet Almond Oil and mix it with 1 Tbsp brown or white sugar. Make sure that the sugar is relatively more than the oil to give you the right scrubbing texture. You have the option of making big amounts and keeping them in a jar or tiny amounts every time you need to scrub.

Get an old toothbrush and use the mixture on your lips back and forth in soft and light motions. Don't be too harsh with the scrubbing or it can do you more harm than good. Do this once a day and you will start noticing a great difference with your lips' texture.

If you are in the late stage where your lips are already starting to bleed, skip the scrub for now and buy moisturising lip balms and keep applying them all day (every hour).

P.S. Try to stay away from Matt lipsticks and stains as they will dry your lips even more. Nothing looks more ugly than seeing a matt lipstick setting inside your lip cracks.
Until your lips start feeling soft again, opt for lip glosses, lip balms or dewy lipsticks. Lipsticks that are shiny or dewy tend to camoflage the cracks in your lips.

Wait for tomorrow's blogpost about the best lip moisturising products!
