DIY Dark Chocolate Mask for outstanding skin.




Hello Girls,

Yesterday, I talk about the benefits of Dark Chocolate on hair, skin and body. Today, I will show you how to do the best dark chocolate facial masks at home for smooth and glowing skin.



Before doing this mask, here are a few steps to take to prep your skin well:

1) Wash your face with warm water and your favourite facial moisturiser

2) Exfoliate your face to remove any left over dirt, makeup and dead skin. In future blogposts, I will give you a list of the best exfoliators on the market.

3) Apply the chocolate mask and keep it on your face from 15- 20 minutes. Here is the recipe:

  • Melt about half a bar of Lindt Dark Chocolate (70% or 80% cocoa) in a water bath or a microwave. Make sure not to heat it too much.
  • Add one Tbsp Yogurt
  • One tsp Olive Oil or Almond Oil
  • The yolk of one egg
  • One tsp honey.


Mix all ingredients well and apply on your face. Make sure you are wearing an old t-shirt or an old towel as it might stain your clothes.

4) Wash your face 

5) Tone your face with your favourite moisturiser 

6) Moisturise as usual

Notes to consider:
If you are allergic to chocolate or cocoa this mask is not for you.
Don't heat the chocolate to a high temperature so it doesn't burn your skin.
