The Indefinite Uses of Cotton Buds

Cotton buds are the ultimate beauty tools that can save your life by multi-tasking in your beauty regime. Here are some uses for this cheap and useful beauty gadget:

1) Clean your ears: 
Well, this one is too obvious, I guess.

2) Condition your eyebrows:
Get a drop of Castor Oil on your cotton bud and condition your eyebrows every night before bedtime. This will give you heavy and well-groomed eyebrows.

3) Condition your cuticles:
Get a drop of Almond Oil on your cotton bud and condition your cuticles for healthy and smooth looking hands/nails.

4) Remove waterproof mascara:
Get a drop of eye makeup remover on your cotton bud and remove stubborn mascara from each lash individually while closing one eye at a time. Start from the roots outwards.

5) Makeup Corrector:
You finished your makeup and a drop of mascara came under your eye or on your cheek. Now What? Get your cotton bud with a drop of concealer and correct that dark mascara spot instantly. Don't Panic.

6) Foundation Applicator:
If your foundation is without a pump, never put your fingers inside the bottle for hygienic purposes. Instead, get your cotton bud and scrape out the desired amount of foundation needed.

7) Correct Dark Lipsticks:
You are applying a statement dark lipstick and it doesn't look even on your lip contour. With your cotton bud, go around your lips and fix that line gently.

8) Cover empty areas on your scalp:
If you have empty areas on your scalp, fix this by getting brown or black eyeshadow on your cotton bud and lightly camouflage those areas.

9) Kohl Smudge:
For a soft-looking morning smoky look, draw a line with your kohl and lightly smudge it with your cotton bud.

10) Clean your tear ducts:
To prevent the kohl from accumulating in your tear ducts throughout the day, clean your ducts with a cotton bud prior makeup application.

11) Define your winged liner:
If your winged liner has a wiggly end, get a drop of concealer and a cotton bud and correct the uneven line.

12) Clean your Nails:
If you got some dirt stuck under your nails, get a cotton bud with a drop of water and clean underneath your nails.

13) Correct your nail polish:
If your applying nail polish and you got some colour on your skin, you can easily clean this with a cotton bud and a drop of nail polish remover.

Your beauty kit is never complete without a box of cotton buds. Keep some in your purse, office, bathroom, bedroom and car, as you never know when the need arises. Based on my humble experience, they really are life savers!
